MONROVIA: As the Supreme Court will today be rendering an opinion in the ongoing leadership crisis at the House of Representatives, Nimba Electoral District #9 Representative Taa Z. Wongbe has raised concerns over the hardship being faced by the citizens.
Posting on his official Facebook page, the Nimba County Lawmaker was quick to point out the numerous challenges faced significantly as a result of this crisis, leading to a standstill in the nation’s progress.
A situation according to Representative Wongbe putting Liberia’s democracy to the test.
According to him, the citizens are observing closely, especially the younger generation.
Additionally, Representative Wongbe said the Nation partners who are crucial for supporting the nearly $9 billion ARREST development agenda, are also watching closely.
“The international community is paying attention.” he wrote
Expressing despair, the lawmaker alleged that there are some citizens who have depicted their intention to disregard the court’s decision.
However, he remains trustworthy in his commitment to the rule of law. No matter the outcome of today’s opinion from the court, he will adhere to the ruling.
