MONROVIA: Lofa County Electoral District #2 Representative Julie Fatorma Wiah has renounced allegations of receiving Fifteen Thousand United States Dollars to sign on a resolution that calls for the removal of House Speaker Cllr. Jonathan Fonati Koffa.
According to a release from the office of the Lofa County Lawmaker, Amid growing controversy within the House of Representatives, Rep. Wiah has rejected all allegations of financial incentives related to her position, stressing that her decision is driven by a commitment to good governance and accountability.
In her statement dated October 22, 2024, Rep. Wiah also addressed her constituents, Liberians, International Partners, and the Media, expressing gratitude for the opportunity given to her by the Citizens of Lofa County particularly the constituents of her district.
She reaffirmed her dedication to her role, emphasizing that her integrity remains intact despite accusations that have surfaced in the wake of her call for Speaker Koffa’s removal.
