CAPITOL HILL, MONROVIA: Lofa County District #2 Representative Julie Fatoma Wiah has written the Plenary of the House of Representatives submitting for Legislative enactment three separate bills for the creation of the Townships.
The intention of the three legislative bills by the Lawmaker if enacted into law and signed by the president of Liberia, is to provide local governmental structures in Wanhassa Lofa County.
These Townships include, Langbamba, Kamatahun, and Massambolahun.
The Legislative proposed bills seek to provide for the establishment and the setting up of a local governance structures within Tengia Administration District in Lofa.
Providing an insight on the importance of her bills, Representative Wiah said that the citizens of Massambolahun is densely populated with over four thousand square kilometers.
The developmental needs of the growing population in that place are a challenge to the area and will require an efficient and responsive Administration to reduce some of the Administrative gaps in the District.
Representative Wiah told Legislative Reporters Monday at the Capitol Building the House of Representatives’ ongoing Extraordinary sitting in Monrovia.
