LIBERIA: Rep. A.F Williams Donates Vehicle to Pleebo District Development Council

PLEEBO, MARYLAND: The Representative of District 2, Maryland County, Anthony F. Williams has donated a four doors pick-up value nine thousand united state Dallas ($9000) to the District Development Council and fourteen set of rain coat including rain boats to the Liberia National Police in Maryland County.

The dedication ceremony of the items was held at the Pleebo hall on Tuesday July 23,2024, and was graced by local government officials, the Muslim community, Christian community represented by Rev. Morris KC Harris, Liberia National Police headed by J max Roberts, youths of Pleebo, traditional women among others.

Presenting the materials, the home office of District #2 lawmaker, Coordinator Standford Neufville said, the vechle and set of rain gear and boat which was given, will help to ease the many challenges encountererd by DDC and LNP in the county.

He stressed that, it’s Representative Williams’ own way of giving back and identifying with the people in the District for voting him in the 2023 General and Presidential elections. Adding, Neufville mentioned that the Lawmaker will always remember his people in time of difficulties, noting that he has a lot of plans for the District to be implemented very soon.

The home office urged beneficiaries to use the materials accordingly in order to provide safety and guardian for all citizenry.

Receiving the vehicle, the Chairman for the District Development Council (DDC) Aldolphus Mlama commended the Representative for his gesture towards the District.

He added that the car will be monitored and at the same time provide services for the operation of the city.

The chairman pledged his support to Representative Williams for collaboration to see the betterment of District.

In a separate remarks, the Superintendend and operation for police in Maryland County, Officer Dawuda Swari thanked Representative Anthony F. Williams for his continue supports in the District. 

This is the first time to receive such a donation from lawmaker after years of serving in the county. The fourteen set of rain gear and boat have brought joy to our scrop of operation in the county. And these items will closely be use for it internal purpose” he lamented.

Also speaking, the women leader and District inspector Madam Chris Walker commended the leadership of the Representative and noted that the gesture is timely. 

She emphasized that the women in the county will always be supportive to see rapid development in the District, and County at large.
